Ministry of Digital Transformation and its partners launch support program for Ukrainian entrepreneurs

This summer will see the launch of a new initiative under the Start Path program, designed specifically for Ukrainian fintech companies and entrepreneurs. This is an opportunity for startups to accelerate their development.

In the first stage, five Ukrainian startups will receive mentoring support, access to resources and networking with leading experts for six months. This should help to scale and accelerate the development of their business, as well as contribute to the further recovery of Ukraine.

The application process will start this summer.

To date, more than 300 startups around the world have received support under the Start Path. Currently, these companies are entering public markets, becoming "unicorns" and concluding long-term commercial contracts with Mastercard. Among the well-known participants of the Start Path are CNote, Doconomy, Revolut and Subaio.

The new initiative, which is a continuation of the global Start Path program, was announced at the Money 20/20 Europe fintech event in Amsterdam with the participation of Mastercard CEO in Ukraine and Moldova Inga Andreieva, Deputy NBU Governor Oleksii Shaban and Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Borniakov.

The program will be implemented by Mastercard with the support of the National Bank of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that in May this year Mastercard together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine opened a consulting center Diia.Business for Ukrainian SMEs in Warsaw.
