The sector is famous for its textile, apparel, leather and footwear.

Apparel sector unites almost 1,700 companies and 50,000 employees; textile sector unites near 510 companies and 23,000 employees; leather and footwear sector unites 339 companies and 22,500 employees.

For the production Ukraine use its own natural materials and source from other countries. Ukraine's linen industry is developing on its own raw materials.

Geographical location of Ukraine and good transport links with the European Union give the apparel and footwear industries an opportunity be very competitive with the order execution speed.

Ukrainian companies are already known in the world as trustworthy partners. More than 70% of Ukrainian apparel and about 30% of footwear companies produce products for famous international brands. Well-known brands like Zara, Hugo Boss, Laura Ashley, Decathlon, Triumph, New Look, Lener Cordier and others are already cooperating with Ukrainian manufacturers.
