The Catalogue of Ukrainian machinery and engineering exporters 2022

The Ukrainian railroad rolling stock sector is one of the fastest growing in Ukrainian machinery and has a high potential. The main subsectors of railway machinery in Ukraine are the production of locomotives (diesel and electric locomotives), production of cargo and passenger wagons, repair of railway equipment.

In 2021 sales of railway machinery products were near USD 625 million. In January 2022 the volume of railway machinery production increased by 76%.

Thanks to the country’s size (the biggest country within Europe with 603.6 thousand km2, 3rd country in Europe by length of the railway network); geographical location and proximity to international buyers Ukraine has all the prerequisites to further develop its railway sector. In 7 months of 2022 the volume of export of railway machinery products amounted to USD 82.9 million. To ensure sustainable supply additional logistics routes are being developed to supply Ukrainian products abroad.

Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office created the Catalogue of the Ukrainian organic exporters 2022 in a framework on the National Stand of Ukraine at InnoTrans 2022.
