The Catalog of Export Potential of Donetsk region

Donetsk Regional State Administration has created and presented the Catalog of Export Potential of Donetsk Region to establish business contacts, promote the region's export potential, increase the level of competitiveness and expand markets for manufacturing companies.

The enterprises of the Donetsk region showed interest in joint cooperation in the field of agriculture, food and processing industry, machine building, metallurgy, services, etc. Enterprises of the Donetsk region are ready to cooperate with enterprises and organizations of the EU, Asia, and America.

The Donetsk region remains an important partner for many countries around the world and occupies a leading position in terms of exports among the regions of our country, ranking 2nd among all regions of Ukraine.

The foreign trade turnover of the Donetsk region during January-September 2021 amounted to 6398 million dollars. US dollars (increased compared to the same period last year by 60.6% or 2413.9 million US dollars), including:

• exports - 5146.7 million dollars. USA (increased by 78.3%);
• imports - 1251.3 million dollars. USA (increased by 14%).

At the same time, exports of goods to the European Union amounted to 2726.4 million dollars. The US, or 53% of total exports and increased compared to the corresponding period of 2020 by 125.3%.

Among the EU partner countries, the most exported goods were to Italy 47.6%, Poland 28.7%, Spain 4.7%, Romania 3.2%, Slovakia 2.6%, the Czech Republic 2.1%, France 1.7%, and Lithuania 1.4%.

The Donetsk region is open to mutually beneficial cooperation, which can create favorable conditions for the development of fruitful cooperation with foreign states.
