The Government allowed entry to Ukraine for foreigners vaccinated with at least one dose

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the relevant amendments at 18, August meeting.

According to the amendments to the Government Decree of December 9, 2020, foreigners, among other things, are exempt from the quarantine ban on entry to Ukraine if they have a foreign COVID-19 certificate, if such a certificate confirms vaccination against COVID-19 with one or more doses of vaccines included in the WHO list allowed for use in emergency situations.

Such a certificate must be issued by the authorized bodies of the member states of the European Union or authorized bodies of other foreign states with which Ukraine has concluded international agreements on mutual recognition of COVID ― certificates.

In addition, persons who have a document confirming vaccination against COVID-19 with one or more doses of vaccines included by the World Health Organization in the list of approved for use in emergency situations, or recovery of a person from COVID-19, are not subject to self-isolation after crossing the state border of Ukraine or arriving from the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

Previously, only citizens of Ukraine could enter the country from abroad without self-isolation after having received only one dose of the vaccine (incomplete course).
