Kyivguma LLC has received analytical and consulting support from the Export Promotion Office to ensure the compliance of its products with EU requirements
The success of our customers is our success! Today, we want to share a #SuccessStory of Kyivguma LLC. After consultations with the experts of the Export Promotion Office, Kyivguma LLC confirmed the quality of its products in line with European standards.
The team of Kyivguma planned to enter the EU market with its dielectric products and joined the programme «Development of the Potential of Ukraine in Implementing the Programme of Conformity with Security Requirements for the Products of Small and Medium-Sized Companies as Part of the Free Trade Agreement with the EU», which was implemented by the Export Promotion Office with the support of our partners – the «Good Governance Fund» of the British Embassy in Ukraine.
In a joint project with Kievguma, the team of the Export Promotion Office and Kyivguma representatives prepared a survey of the EU regulations for such products, analysed the valid requirements, conformity verification methods, technical standards and other certification requirements as well as held consultations on the preparation of technical documents.
Based on that, Kyivguma LLC completed its certification process and obtained CE certificates from SATRA for its dielectric gloves (class 0 and 1, categories R and C) for the EU market. The gloves passed all required tests successfully.
It was confirmed that the parameters, features, technical documents, markings and package of the gloves met the European standards EN 420: 2003 +A1 2009 and EN 60903:2003 (IEC60903:2014) as well as the requirements of the EU Regulation on Personal Protective Equipment (Regulation 2016/425).
«All members of our team invested a lot of efforts and time (almost 1.5 years) and finally received a confirmation that our products meet European requirements and can compete with the products of European manufacturers», said Maxym Lukyanov, the head of the technical department.
Volodymyr Kripky, the production development and innovations director of Kyivguma, mentioned that the company had received assistance from the experts of the Export Promotion Office in the preparation of the required technical documents.
The dielectric products of Kievguma enjoy a high demand not only in Ukraine, but also in European countries. The company pays special attention to these products and their quality.
