«Skyeton», the Ukrainian manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles, used GPA and the Export Promotion Office’s analytical services to enter the EU market

Our today’s #SuccesStory is about a customer of the Export Promotion Office – «Skyeton» company, a manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles that discovered opportunities provided by public procurement procedures in other countries as an additional tool to enter new foreign markets.

The aviation production company «Skyeton» was founded by a group of engineers and pilots in 2006. The company develops and builds unmanned aerial vehicles in the class «small tactical UAV» as well as ultralight aircraft for numerous aerial missions.

The company successfully exports its products to the countries of Africa, North America, Asia and Middle East. Skyeton offers a full development and production cycle for aerial systems and uses equipment from internationally acknowledged suppliers aiming to implement innovative ideas and to deliver optimal solutions to its customers.

With the assistance of the Export Promotion Office, the company filed its application for one of public tenders in July. In September, Skyeton filed an application for one more international tender. We are now crossing our fingers for Skyeton LLC and continue to help Ukrainian companies analyse and conquer international markets. Our analysts have also been commissioned by Skyeton prepared a detailed analysis of the requirements to be observed in the EU market.

«In the name of Skyeton LLC (group of companies «Carbon-Invest»), we thankfully appreciate the services in the analysis of the valid EU requirements for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as well as in the analysis of tenders for this group of goods conducted under the WTO rules in 2018-2020. Given the fact that UAVs are classified as dual-use products, the analysts of the Export Promotion Office – Tetyana Shpyha and Olga Gvozdyova – conducted the analysis very thoroughly and paid due attention to all specific features of our products.

Our special thanks are also addressed to Anna Milenina, the Export Promotion Office advisor, for her permanent assistance and support in preparing tender documents and analysing tender requirements to our procucts. The crucial thing was that we received all mentioned services absolutely free! What your team is doing is very important for Ukrainian exporters!», Skyeton says in its statement.
